Ronald Lee Davidson, age 74, of Maryville, TN, passed away on April 6, 2026. Ron was born in Keenesburg, CO on July 10, 1951, to the late Dennis Floyd and Waunita Maggie (Newberry) Davidson. He is preceded in death by not only his parents, but his brother Dennis O’Neil Davidson, and his sisters Donna Jean Clark and Nellie Jane Spencer (Perry). Ron is survived by his wife of eleven years Nicole Gonzales Davidson, brothers Bob Davidson and Charles “Kenny” Kenneth Davidson, his sisters Dema Lee Lummel, Joan Fred (Davidson) and Margie Cofield (Davidson), his wonderful family in the Philippines, and his fur-babies Wilson, Ella and Chloe. Ron was a smart, funny, mischievous and sweet person. He loved cars and working on them with his brothers, Bob, Denny and Kenny. He traveled a lot of the world; working as a contractor for oil refineries, sailing on the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, going on safari in South Africa, riding elephants in Thailand, shopping the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, and even being in Kuwait when Iraq was lobbing scud missiles. In northern Canada, Ron said the mosquitos were the size of hummingbirds. All of these adventures were amazing to Ron, but the most amazing adventure was meeting and marrying the love of his life, Nicole when he was in the Philippines. Ron is deeply loved and will be missed. He was a wonderful husband, brother and friend.
