Robert Michael Landis, age 72, of Maryville, TN passed away on May 15, 2026. Robert was born in Aurora, IL on January 27, 1954. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and then went on to work for, and retire from, the United States Postal Service. Robert was a proud member of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA). Robert was a faithful follower of Jesus. He loved the gospel, his family, riding motorcycles and traveling the country. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert C. Landis and Ara Belle Norris. Robert is survived by his children, Collin Landis, Laura Rothgeb, Katie Hembree, and Aaron “Jay” Landis; and sisters, Carol Robinson and Linda McCosky. There will be a service to remember and honor Robert’s life at the VFW, 2561 Hobbs Road, Louisville, TN, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12 – 3pm.
