Ray E. Whitehead

September 24, 1942 – April 27, 2026

Ray E. Whitehead passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Potts-Whitehead; his brother, Earl Whitehead and wife Sharon; his sister, Charlotte Gates and husband Gary; and his beloved children, Terry Whitehead, Sheila Whitehead, Jessica Bender, Samantha Potts, Ventura Stout, and Isaiah McKinney. He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Nancy Whitehead; his sister, Dorothy Williams and her husband Herbert; and his sister, Virginia Harrison and her husband Ted.

Ray will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his witty and warped sense of humor, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
