Mary Nell Richards passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026. Mary Nell was born on October 2, 1946, in Mineral Wells, TX. She married the love of her life, Robert R. Richards, Jr. on June 14, 1968 and they had 53.5 wonderful years together building a life centered around faith in God, family, and friends. Mary Nell’s Chrisian faith was a defining part of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends; especially at big family gatherings and at church.

Mary Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Richards, Jr.; her parents Frank and Mary Armstrong; and her sister Sandra Jo. She is survived by her daughter LeAnne Young and her husband Brett; son Robert J. Armstrong; son David Richards and his wife Julie; son James Richards and his wife Rachel; sister Cara Pat Tunstall; sister-in-law Peggy Johnson; grandson Brandon Young and his wife Rebecca; great-grandchildren Aydan and Lyam; grandson Nathaniel Young; granddaughter Tiffanie Ramirez and her husband Michael; great-grandchildren Andrew and Reagan; grandson Steven Richards and his wife Bethzary; and granddaughter Morgan McNeese.

Mary Nell will be remembered for her steadfast faith in God and her love for family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
