Mary Lee Farmer, age 83, of Maryville, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026. Mary was born in Murphy, NC, on July 27, 1942 to the late Western T. and Hazel A. Owenby. She is preceded in death, not only by her parents, but by her children Denise Fultz and Darrell Hill, and her sister Eula Mae Helton. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Darlene Hill, her granddaughter Rachel Byrd, and her brother Harold Owenby. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always giving to the needy. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. There will be a private family service held in her memory.
