Kirby Holmes Spalding passed away Friday, June 26, 2026. Kirby was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 12, 1948, to the late Kirby and Ruth (Brown) Spalding. He is survived by his wife Joni; sisters Karen Bacon and Harriet McClain; brothers Robert Spalding and Steve Spalding; son Michael; daughter Amanda; stepdaughter Elizabeth; and stepson Robert. Kirby received a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree and was self-employed throughout his adult life. He was also a proud member of the United States Navy and Naval Reserves. He was a member of Nexus. Kirby received the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star.
