Jeffrey David Kidd, age 43, of Knoxville, TN passed away on May 4, 2026. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for over 2 years. Jeffrey was born on May 23, 1982, in East Ridge, TN. He graduated in 2000 from Oak Ridge High School and then in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. Jeffrey was a four-year member of the UT Pride of the Southland band and the Lady Vols pep band. He was an avid follower of UT sports and a lifelong sports fan. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his grandparents Burtis and Gwen Endsley of Evansville, IN and Lawrence and Essie Kidd of Maryville, TN. He is survived by his son Jacob Kidd of Kingston, TN; parents Gary and Rhonda Kidd of Oak Ridge, TN; sister Jennifer (Pablo) Salazar of Oak Ridge, TN; and niece Kaitlyn Brashears of Oak Ridge, TN. Receiving of Friends will be on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, from noon until 2pm at First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge, TN.
