In Loving Memory of Janice Lee Dotson

October 20, 1963 – June 10, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Lee Dotson on June 10, 2026. Janice was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend whose kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched countless lives.

Janice found her greatest joy in her family. She was known for her caring heart, unwavering love, and exceptional cooking and baking. Her homemade cookies, pies, and cakes became treasured traditions that brought family and friends together and made everyone feel welcome and loved.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Danny Dotson; her children, Nick Senzel (Emily) and Maddie Senzel (Tharrin); her stepdaughters, Samantha Bennett (Brian) and Casey Hudson (Kyle); her grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Nicky, Molly, Emma, Reilly, Cooper, and Slater; her father, Gerald Thilgen; her sister, Paula Thilgen; her nieces, Logan and Brooke; and many extended family members and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Thilgen, and her sister, Julie Thilgen.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Janice found comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Her family takes peace in knowing she is now resting in His presence.

In accordance with her final wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private ceremony in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Janice’s memory be honored through acts of kindness, generosity, and love.
