Daniel Edgar Watson, Jr., age 51, passed away on March 7, 2026, after a sudden illness. Daniel was known for his sense of humor and the way he could make people laugh. He cared deeply for the people in his life and loved his family very much. Daniel shared a long history with Elizabeth Webb, whom he first met when they were young, and they later found their way back to each other. He was a proud father and grandfather who loved his children and grandchildren deeply and took great pride in the lives they were building. Outside of work, Daniel enjoyed movies, video games, anime, and his interest in firearms. He is survived by his mother, Debra Watson; his brother, Jeffrey Watson (Lorie); his children, Wesley Watson (Colleen) and Ariel Shoemaker (Cody) and Alexander Jones (EmmaGrace), who was also an important part of his life; and his grandchildren, Lillian and Josie Woods and Octavia and Sawyer Shoemaker. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Watson, Sr., and his grandparents. His memory will live on through the family he loved and the memories shared with those who knew him.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm at Greenback Memorial Baptist Church (292 TN-95 Greenback, TN 37742).
