Carolyn Faye Nichols, age 79, of Maryville, passed away on January 29, 2026. She was born in Maryville, TN on April 7, 1946. Faye is preceded in death by her husband Mayford Nichols, mother Eula Everett, sister Patsy Everett, niece Kristian Everett, special nephew Kerry Everett, and sweet fur-baby Smokey. She is survived by her daughters Amanda (Derek) Smith and Brandy Nichols, step-daughter Brittany Fuller-Smith, sister Brenda (Bruce) Icenhour, brother Joe (Sandy) Everett, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Faye absolutely loved being crafty, especially crocheting. Her love for animals was strong. She absolutely loved getting out of the house, especially if it meant her favorite Burger King meal was on the schedule. There will be a Celebration of Faye’s Life on February 21st, 2026, 5pm, at Freedom to Worship, with Charlie Lambert and Danny Buchanan officiating. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”.
