Brenda Lana (Boley) Dossett, 75, of Leeds, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her sleep August 3, 2026. Brenda was a courageous, funny and loving woman who lived life fully and loved her family deeply. At age 18, she began her military career in the United States Army and later transferred to the Air National Guard, retiring as a Master Sergeant. She was incredibly proud of her military service. Brenda is survived by her husband, Charles Dossett; children Brian Barnes (Christi Barnes) and Tracy Barnes; grandchildren Chaz Barnes, Devin Bates (Laura Ruiz), Brooke Bates, Cory Barnes (Mackenzie Barnes), and Braden Barnes; and great-grandchildren Isla Moore-Bates and Soleil Bates. Brenda adored her grandchildren and will be remembered for her courage, humor, strength, and the immense love she gave to her family. She was deeply loved, will be missed, and will never be forgotten.
