Mrs. Wanda Evelyn Harmon

Wanda Evelyn Harmon met the loving arms of Jesus Christ, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was born to William Boring and Mayme (Caughron) in Maryville, TN on May 27, 1935 and was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Wanda is missed by her surviving family; husband Charles Harmon, son Edwin Garner and his wife Myrna of Franklin, TN; daughters Shawn Kelly and husband Steve of Bartow, FL and Taryn Garner of Winter Haven, FL. Extended family include: Page Ensor, husband Daniel of Franklin, TN and children Mollee, Madison and Garner; Kara Moore, husband Dave of VA Beach, VA and children Samuel, Sarah and Simon; Cory Garner, wife Jennifer of Maryville, TN and children London, Grayson and Aubrey; Bobbie Garner of Ft. Meade, FL and Kevin Williams of Bartow, FL; Jamie Garner and Thomas Long of Lakeland, FL, Krystal Garner of Ft. Meade, FL and Esses Thomas of Winter Haven, FL. Wanda loved the Smoky Mountains and was a dedicated genealolgist and ardent student of local history, which allowed her to contribute her works to the Lamar Memorial Library and Blount County Historical Museum. Family and friends will gather at Millers Cove Cemetery, 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 for her interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
