Patricia Codding

Patricia Codding, born Patricia Maynard, affectionately known as Pat, passed away peacefully on November 6th with her loving family by her side.

Pat was born in Burlington, VT to Joseph and Lucille Maynard. Pat graduated from Burlington High School and Clinton Community College with High Honors.

Pat is survived by her husband Bernard Codding; sons Kevin Allen, Scott Allen, and Brian Allen and special daughter in-law Michelle Allen; stepdaughter Jaimie Codding and daughter in-law Beth Codding, stepdaughter Jennifer Codding and daughter in-law Patty Codding, and stepson Jason Codding; and grandchildren Dylan Cota, Dylan Allen, Kayla Allen, Tyler Jungman, Mason Allen, Bryce Allen, Joshua Codding, and Dustin Codding. She is also survived by her beloved sister Melodie Bean and her husband Loomis Bean; her brother Bill Maynard and his wife Gail Maynard; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Eunice Maynard, her parents Joseph and Lucille Maynard, and her beloved Aunt Doris Horan.

Pat was a wife, mother, stepmother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and Accountant. At the time of her retirement, she was an Enrolled Agent working for H&R Block. She was also very concerned about protecting children and in 2005 was appointed as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She loved to cook, travel, sew, listen to music, play the piano or organ, sing loudly, paint, color, fish, daisies, spending time with her boys and loved the game of cribbage. Her heart had no bounds, she lived life to the fullest, and you always knew she was in the room with her quick, witty manner and jokes. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knows her.
