Neisa B. Pamfil Marcano, 57, of Maryville, passed away Thursday morning, September 27th, 2016. Neisa was a missionary, professor and counselor. She had a BA in English, MA in Foreign Language, an MS in Mental Health Counseling and an LPC. She was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church where she was active in missions, prayer, mentoring and leading Bible studies. Neisa lived with ALS for 3 years. Even though it was horrible, God showed His love and care for her through her chosen families in Peachtree City, GA, Knoxville and Maryville, TN, the faculty and staff at Maryville College, and her wonderful and compassionate caregivers. Neisa is preceded in death by her mother Isaura Fe Panfil. She is survived by her father Nevil Panfil, brothers Giddel, Milton and Jaun Panfil, sister Fe Ludebbie Panfil Pistone, daughter Samantha Victoria Pamfil, and many chosen family. Neisa would like to thank her chosen family all over the world, and thank God for the family that she was born into. A private, closed gratitude service will be held in her honor at Grandview Cemetery, with Pastor Glenn Gamble of Broadway Baptist Church, Maryville officiating.
