Laura Skeen Moats

Laura Skeen Moats born January 5th, 1967, in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on June 15th, 2021. She was preceded in death by Father Wayne Skeen, grandmother Lessie Ward. Laura was survived by her husband James L. Moats, daughter Katy Skeen, son Chance Skeen (Taylor), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, stepchildren Michelle Moats-Orr, Alan Moats and Jamey Moats, sister Angie Clabo, one niece, one nephew, stepmother Nell Skeen, and several friends. She was employed by Sonic car hop, and pizza delivery. Laura was studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses, and she was close to baptism. A service for Laura will be announced at a later date. She loved serving and meeting new people. Laura was one of the most loving, genuine people, and she will be sorely missed.
