John Burton "Swannie" Swanson

John Burton "Swannie" Swanson, age 69, of Maryville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a retired critical care nurse. John was a loving and caring husband and father who will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Gladys Swanson; brother, Robert Swanson. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debra Swanson; son, Michael Swanson; sister-in-law, Beverly Swanson; nieces, Katie & Kelly. At a later date, there will be a gathering of close friends and family.
