Jeffrey Wayne Maples

Jeff Maples, 68, of Maryville, TN, passed away at home surrounded by family on May 9, 2026. Jeff was born in Knoxville, TN, on November 14, 1957, to the late Jesse Willard and Mildred Maples. He retired after 25+ years as a firefighter and paramedic with the Fort Myers Beach, FL fire department. Jeff loved all things music. He played numerous instruments and was in a band for several years. One of his favorite venues to play was Grandma’s Grove in FL. He also loved horses and trail-riding. Jeff was a very loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings Pat, Jay, and Nancy. Jeff is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margie Maples; his daughter and partner, Stacey and Barbara; his son Jeffrey and partner Savannah; his sister Mary; his fur-baby Daisy; and his grand fur-babies Cooper and Tater. There will be a private graveside service held by the family, and a Celebration of Life for family and friends, which will be announced at a later date.
