Iva "Cheryl" Russell Bales

Iva “Cheryl” Russell Bales was met and welcomed by her son Ricky Bales, daughter Deborah Bales Mishoe, and parents James Walter (Doc) and Lena Patty Russell on September 9, 2023. Born October 18, 1943, Cheryl was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter Sherri Bales Tipton (fiancé Dennis Yates); grandchildren Christopher Bales (Kelsey) and Taylor Turner Harrell; great-grandchildren Carter Bales, Paisley Bales, and Skyler Look; sisters Marcie McKee and Judy Dunlap (Bill); several beloved nieces and nephews; and best friend Judy Hurst.

A special thank you to Foothills Transitional Care for Cheryl's care, and to the staff in the Harmony Wing for not only caring for Cheryl, but her family as well. At Cheryl's request there will be no receiving of friends and no services. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
