Heather Nicole Crye

Heather N Crye, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on December 24,2025. She was born on June 1, 1985 in Charlotte, NC; however, Heather grew up in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania, a city that made her a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Heather’s vibrant spirit touched everyone she met. A true social butterfly. She had an incredible gift for starting conversations and making people feel seen and valued. Her laughter and warmth lit up every room, and her presence was a source of joy for family and friends alike.

Though she never admitted to turning forty, Heather embraced life with youthful energy and an adventurous heart. She will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, and her unwavering love for those closest to her. She will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her.

Preceded in death by: Mother, Deborah M Crye, Grandparents Fred and Lucille Crye; Curtis and Virginia Mills; Uncle Derwood Mills.

Survived by Father, Jerry Crye Sr, (Brenda), Brother, Jerry Crye Jr. (Jessica Gonzalez) Nieces Ellie and Emma, nephews Zander and Zachery, Uncle Jim Crye (Lynn), Aunt Gladys Waters, Susie (Matt) Smith, Teresa Mills, Cousins Amber (Clay) Sunding, Brandon (Hannah) Smith, Amanda (Taylor) Martin, Sommer Mills and many friends as well as her fur baby Chloe.

Heather was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, PA. She had a degree in cosmetology. She also enjoyed going to the Lady Vols Basketball games with her dad.

She had trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and knew she was going to heaven.

A memorial/celebration of life will be at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church, 6337 Rudder Road, Knoxville TN on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11am.
