Frances Catherine Anderson

Frances Catherine Anderson (nee Godman) formerly of Chicago, IL and Homosassa, FL, passed away on January 12, 2023, in Knoxville, TN at the age of 80.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosemary Godman, and brother Robert Godman. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Philip Anderson, sister Rose O’Brien (Tom Doughty), sister-in-law Carol Godman, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Fran retired from Argonne National Laboratory after 26 years of service as an accounting and financial assistant. Fran was known for her kind demeanor, her love of cats, her exemplary needlework, and her chocolate chip cookies.
