Ethelene Moore

Ethelene Moore of Alcoa, TN passed away December 7, 2023, at the age of 87. Born in Georgia, Ethelene was known for her love of family, friends, and God. She was head minister of the Heritage COG Women's group where they were determined to pave the parking lot and got it done by having bake sales. She was the Seniors group pastor at Alcoa Maryville COG, Green Meadow COG, and The Meadow COG where she is still a member.

Ethelene is preceded in death by her parents Charley and Gordie (Carter) Fenn, husband John R. Moore, sons Danny R. Moore and Darrell W. Moore, daughter Linda S. Sapp, son-in-law Dale Roberts, sister Lorene Castillo, and brother Charley F. Fenn, Jr. She is survived by daughters Tina M. Lyons (Bill) and Debbie L. Roberts, son Duane R. Moore (Connie), 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at The Meadow, 1723 William Blount Drive, Maryville, TN 37801, on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00pm with the Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00pm, Pastor Duane Moore, Reverend Scotty Helton, and Pastor Allen Bryant to officiate.
