Carolyn Janice (Hynson) Davis

Carolyn Janice (Hynson) Davis, beloved wife of Arnold Eugene Davis for 68 years, was unexpectedly taken by the Angels on Tuesday morning, January 17, 2023, just five days before her 84th birthday. She was the love of my life, even more, she was my heart, my purpose and reason for being. My grief is vast and overwhelming. I don’t know how I can go on without her. I know I will though because she would scold me for feeling so lost and uncertain about my remaining life without her. Our life together was indeed a blessed one with loving family, many travels, and cherished memories. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mark (Barbara) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Timothy of Rockport, TX; granddaughter Melissa Knippa; great-granddaughter Annabelle Knippa; and brother Thomas Hynson of Shriever, LA. There will be a private memorial with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, Carolyn was an avid animal lover and her wishes would be for support of local animal shelters.
