Bradford Lee Huffaker, 36, of Maryville, passed away November 14. Brad was a graduate of Maryville High and earned a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Hartwick College in Oneonta New York. He was a life long member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and the church’s Boy Scout Troop 88 where he was an eagle scout. Brad was known for his good nature, kind heart, and genuine sensitivity. He was gifted intellectually, artistically, musically and athletically. People who knew Brad have further described him as having a rare ability to connect with children, having a knack of bringing humanity to social issues and a person who was always trying to please. Brad is preceded in death by his grand parents Clyde and Helen Huffaker; Chapman and Erma Brown, and his uncle Michael Huffaker. He is survived by his parents C. Lee and Elizabeth Huffaker; his sister and brother in law, Amanda and Brian Wheeler; nephews Caden Wheeler, Eli Wheeler and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. A memorial service will be held at New Providence Presbyterian Church, Maryville on December 1 at 2 pm followed by a reception in the church’s Westminster hall.
