Mr. Robert T. Cooper

Robert T. Cooper, 73, of Seymour, TN passed away April 17, 2020 after a brief sickness. On November 14, 1946 Robert was born in Vonore, TN. After high school, he went on to have a career as a Bobcat operator in the construction business. He attended the Lord’s Disciples Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Reed and Henrietta Cooper (Vonore, TN), brother Harold Cooper (Vonore, TN) and stepson Ronnie Sellers (Townsend, TN). Robert is survived by his longtime friend of 26 years Patsy Cooper, his daughters Dolores Underwood (Seymour, TN) and Kathy (Tony) Props (Madisonville, TN), stepdaughters Sharma (Jimmy) Floyd (Seymour, TN) and Dawn Leonard (Seymour, TN), his grandchildren Kasiea (Aaron) Willard (Jefferson City, TN), Joshua Leonard (Knoxville, TN), Trystin Sellers (Seymour, TN), Karmin Sellers (Seymour, TN) Datlin Sellers (Seymour, TN), Dylin Sellers (Seymour, TN) and Shandan Ward (Seymour, TN), 5 great grandchildren, his special friends Danny Floyd (Seymour, TN) and Don Turner (Ozark, AL), as well as many more friends. Robert had a heart of gold for those he knew and would help anyone. He was loyal and faithful to his family and friends. We always knew we could count on him. He was, and always will be, loved. At this time, there are no services due to “Safer At Home” policies. There will be a Celebration of Robert’s Life at the Lord’s Disciples Church at a later date.
