Melvin Franklin Cook, Sr. age 78 of Madisonville, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the family home. He retired from Bethlehem Steel, Baltimore, MD and Guilded Mirrors, Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by: Parents, George Cook & Gertie (Moore) Cook; Sisters, Louise (Cook) Fannin and Shirley (Cook) Dailey; Brother, Charles R. Cook. Survivors include: Wife of 60 years, Charlotte Cook; Son & Fiancée, Frank Cook Jr. & Alicia Liese; Granddaughters, Rachel Cook, Gwendolyn (Cook) Whallon; Grandsons, Glenn Cook, Franklin Cook III, and Johnwayne Cook; Cousins, Jimmy & Gwen Cook.
