Mr. James Hunsley

James Hunsley, 75, of Maryville passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lucille Hunsley. He is survived by his wife “Joyce”, sons Rob Hunsley (wife Gail) and Ron Hunsley, grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Alisha and Jacob, and great-grandchild Xander. Educated at Taylorville Highschool, Jim graduated in 1961 and then went on to take some technical classes for appliance repair. This schooling led him on to become owner of Jim’s Appliance Service. He was a member of the Goldwing Motorcycle Club, Model Radio Control Club, and the Amateur Radio Operator Club. Jim loved his hobbies, and the friends that he met, doing what he cherished. He also loved spending time with his friends from Fairview United Methodist Church and his wonderful neighbors. A Service in Jim’s honor will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 10am, at Carpenter’s Cemetery (off Mint Road) in Maryville, TN. Jim would request that all ceremony attendees please dress casually, and in lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
