Mrs. Betty Jo Gourley Pierce

Betty Jo Gourley Pierce, age 89 of Friendsville, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at home. She was a member of Big Spring Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Everett High School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn F. Pierce; parents, Wade and Mae Gourley; brother, Carl T. Gourley and sister, Mary Helen Robinson. She is survived by her son, Jim (Linda) Pierce; daughter, Beckie (Frank) Ellis; special granddaughter, Amy Pierce, and many other beloved family members, friends and neighbors. To honor her wishes, no services will be held, and memorial donations may be made to Gideon’s International, Blount County South Camp, P.O. Box 4035, Maryville, TN 37802-4035.
