Mr. Anthony O'Neil Reidy

Anthony O'Neil Reidy passed away peacefully at home November 5, 2020 with his wife, daughter, and son-in-law by his side. Anthony was "NOT born in Connecticut." He was born in Ohio, on 3-13-1941 to Dennis and Nellie Reidy. Tony was class president his senior year in high school and a volunteer fireman after graduation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brockport State University and his Master of Science in Education from the State University of New York. Anthony Reidy began his career in New York as an Elementary School Principal in 1971 and continued until he retired from Pinellas County Florida in 2005. Mr. Reidy had a gift for working with students, parents and faculty. He is survived by Jana, his wife of 37 years, daughters Megan Reidy Slawinski (Joel), Gretchen Reidy and Bridget Reidy Moore (Anthony), brothers Dennis Reidy (Patricia) and Robert Reidy, brother-in-law Richard Cobb (Cherie), grandson Logan Ellis, granddaughter Krystle Libel, two great-granddaughters, four nephews, three nieces, and many great and great-great nephews and nieces.
